Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic people to join our team at The clubhouse in Penrith. The team is growing due to demands and business growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience by delivering high-quality service, a great pint, assisting with food service, and maintaining food safety standards. You will be expected to work alone sometimes and lock and close up the business.

This is a position with hours mainly over weekends and evenings to cover extended opening hours.

Duties



Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and bar. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for resolution. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes. Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain service flow. Open/close shifts and lock up premises Cleanliness of the bar and stock control

Requirements



Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role is preferred but not essential. Barista experience would be beneficial Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing bills. Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during peak hours. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A team player who is willing to help colleagues as needed. A passion for culinary arts and an eagerness to learn more about food preparation techniques.

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour
