Job Summary


We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Bar Supervisor to lead our beverage service operations within out Clubhouse with enthusiasm and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily bar activities, manage staff, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and uphold the highest standards of food and beverage quality. Your leadership will drive team performance, maintain operational efficiency, and foster a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Duties



Lead and supervise all bar operations, ensuring smooth service during shifts and maintaining a lively, engaging atmosphere. Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to cultivate a motivated and skilled team capable of delivering outstanding customer service. Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimising waste through effective food and beverage management practices. Ensure compliance with food safety standards, alcohol licensing laws, and health regulations to guarantee a safe environment for guests and staff alike. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems , including cash handling procedures and daily reconciliation. Develop and implement innovative drink menus that appeal to diverse clientele while maintaining quality standards. Coordinate kitchen for food preparation when necessary, especially in venues offering food service or catering options. Manage shift operations efficiently by supervising team performance, resolving guest concerns promptly, and ensuring timely service delivery. Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control strategies, promotional activities, and event planning such as banquets or special functions. Foster a positive team environment through leadership in hospitality management practices that emphasise teamwork, accountability, and guest satisfaction.

Experience


Candidates should possess extensive experience in the food industry with a strong background in restaurant or bar management. Prior experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments is highly valued. Demonstrated supervising experience in hospitality settings--including managing kitchen or bar teams--is essential. Proven skills in food preparation, food handling, and culinary experience are advantageous for overseeing food production alongside beverage services. Ideal candidates will have familiarity with POS systems as well as cash handling expertise. Experience in managing inventory control, budgeting, staff training & development, and implementing food safety protocols is required. Strong leadership qualities combined with excellent customer service skills are critical for success in this role. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 14.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
