We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor to oversee our bar operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a focus on leadership and team management. Duties

Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to safety standards. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Lead and train bar staff, fostering a positive team environment while enhancing their skills in serving and hospitality. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Develop creative cocktail menus and coordinate with the culinary team on food production that complements beverage offerings. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to exceed guest expectations. Collaborate with management on promotional events and marketing strategies to increase bar revenue.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a bar or restaurant management role, with supervisory experience preferred. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous. Barista experience is a plus, along with an understanding of various beverage types. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for effective interaction with staff and guests.
