Job Title: Bar Supervisor

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Bar Supervisor. As a vital part of our establishment, you will play a key role in overseeing the bar staff, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining a high standard of operations to provide an enjoyable experience for our guests.

Duties:

Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the bar, ensuring efficient service and high standards Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any issues or concerns promptly Take and serve drink orders when necessary, ensuring accuracy and quality Prepare and serve beverages following recipes and quality standards Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and workstations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system efficiently, ensuring accurate financial reporting Monitor alcohol intake and ensure responsible service of alcohol, addressing any issues with customers or staff Train and mentor bar staff, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure the bar is well-stocked Collaborate with other team members and departments to provide excellent customer service

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a supervisory role within a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred In-depth knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and bar management Strong leadership and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively Basic math skills for handling payments and making change, with an emphasis on accuracy Familiarity with food safety guidelines and health regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and staff

Pay:

Competitive Starting Pay: Opportunities for pay increases based on demonstrated ability in the role, either following your trial shift or on completion of a trial period.
