to join our vibrant hospitality team at

The Engine Room

, a lively sports and entertainment bar located within

Ocean Exmouth

What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting the day-to-day running of the venue, ensuring it's clean, safe, and customer-ready. Leading and motivating the front-of-house team during busy service periods. Delivering excellent customer service and resolving issues professionally. Assisting with staff onboarding, training, and shift coordination. Promoting menu items and upselling to boost sales. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

Experience in hospitality or customer service. Strong communication and leadership skills. Organised, reliable, and confident managing shift duties. Basic knowledge of health and safety and food hygiene.

Desirable:

Supervisory experience in a bar, restaurant, or cafe. Level 2 Food Hygiene and First Aid at Work certificates. Experience with EPOS systems and stock/cash handling. Ambition to grow into future management roles.

Shifts include evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Reliable transport is recommended due to variable working hours
