Previous experience in a busy restaurant and bar environment, along with culinary knowledge and barista experience, will be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff management:
Supervise and lead staff whilst motivating the team.
Operational oversight:
Ensure the bar runs smoothly, preparing for shifts, and performing daily operational tasks.
Inventory and stock:
Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring proper storage and rotation of products.
Customer service:
Handle customer queries, resolve issues, and ensure guests receive a high level of service.
Health and safety:
Enforce health, safety, and hygiene protocols, and maintain cleanliness in the venue as a whole.
Qualifications
:
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
Experience in serving beverages, including cocktail making and barista skills
Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
Leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Previous experience in culinary roles or hospitality management is desirable
Knowledge of health & safety standards relevant to food service environments
