Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Bar Manager

to oversee the daily operations of our bar and restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive knowledge of food and beverage service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer experiences, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The successful applicant will play a key role in driving sales, managing inventory, and fostering a welcoming environment for guests.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the bar team, including bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff, ensuring smooth operations during shifts. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes related to bar menu items, maintaining quality standards. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety standards across all areas of the establishment. Develop innovative cocktail menus and promote specials to attract customers. Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints professionally, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with hygiene standards. Cashing till up on an evening

Requirements

Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, ideally within a bar or similar setting. Supervising experience with strong team management skills. Experience in food safety regulations and food production processes. Familiarity with hospitality operations including serving, barista experience, hotel experience or kitchen experience is advantageous. Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive working environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure. Good understanding of stock control systems and inventory management. Passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
