Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic bar supervisor to oversee the operations of pub. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, with a passion for delivering exceptional service. As Supervisor you will be responsible for managing the bar staff, ensuring high standards of food drink and accommodation service whilst maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead the bar team to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and controlling stock levels. Train and develop staff in hospitality skills, food safety, and barista techniques. Create a menu that reflects current trends while catering to customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring it meets health and safety standards. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or bar environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques. Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices. Background in hospitality with a focus on customer service excellence. Experience in food production and kitchen operations is highly desirable. Barista experience is an advantage, particularly in crafting specialty beverages. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organisational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
