Duties
Supervise and coordinate all bar activities, including staff management, stock control, and customer service.
Oversee food preparation and ensure the quality of culinary offerings, including drinks and light snacks.
Lead the team in serving customers efficiently whilst maintaining excellent hospitality standards.
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage in accordance with food safety regulations.
Implement training programmes for staff on food safety, responsible serving, and customer engagement.
Monitor adherence to licensing laws and health & safety regulations across all operations.
Organise staff schedules, delegate tasks, and supervise performance to foster a motivated team environment.
Handle customer enquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in line with hygiene standards.
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a hospitality environment, ideally in bars or restaurants.
Extensive restaurant experience with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food production.
Previous experience in hospitality roles such as serving or as a barista is advantageous.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in fast-paced settings.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for kitchen and bar environments.
Experience working within hotel or catering establishments is desirable.
