We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Supervisor/ Assistant Manager (only UK National/ Resident) to oversee the daily operations of our bar/ restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and leadership, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and production. This role requires a blend of culinary expertise and team management skills, making it essential for the Bar Manager to foster a positive working environment.

Duties

Supervise daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction Manage and train bar staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health codes Develop and implement innovative drink menus and specials Maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure stock availability Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service between the bar and restaurant areas Monitor financial performance, including sales reports and budgeting

Experience

Previous experience in a bar management or supervisory role is essential Strong background in hospitality, with restaurant or hotel experience preferred Culinary experience is advantageous, particularly in food preparation and production Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is required Experience as a barista or in similar roles will be considered an asset
