Duties
Manage the day-to-day running of the bar, Resturant and Hotel ensuring smooth service during shifts.
Supervise and motivate staff, including bartenders, servers, and kitchen personnel, fostering a positive team environment.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes related to bar snacks or light meals, ensuring consistency and quality.
Maintain stock levels by ordering supplies, managing inventory, and minimising waste.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety standards across all operations.
Develop innovative drink menus and promotional events to attract new customers and retain existing clientele.
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to uphold excellent service standards.
Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and budgets, to optimise profitability.
Train staff on service techniques, food safety procedures, and responsible alcohol service.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to secure quality products at competitive prices.
Qualifications
Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, preferably within a bar or similar setting.
Supervising experience with strong team management skills.
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations.
Familiarity with food production processes in a hospitality environment.
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced setting with excellent hospitality skills.
Culinary experience or hotel experience is advantageous.
Barista experience is desirable but not essential.
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and manage multiple priorities effectively.
