We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Bar Manager

to oversee the daily operations of our bar establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive knowledge of food and beverage service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and creating a welcoming environment for patrons. The successful applicant will play a key role in driving the success of our venue while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of bar staff, including serving, bartending, and cleaning duties Oversee food preparation and ensure high standards of culinary presentation and quality Manage inventory levels for beverages, food supplies, and bar equipment; place orders. Monitor customer satisfaction and address any complaints promptly to maintain a positive atmosphere Organise promotional events or themed nights to increase patron engagement and revenue Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in accordance with hospitality standards

Skills

Proven experience in supervising or managing within a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably with bar and restaurant experience Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff effectively Experience in serving customers efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure Leadership qualities with the ability to oversee daily operations seamlessly Familiarity with kitchen experience or barista experience is advantageous but not essential Good communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and customers
