We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Supervisor/Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service in a vibrant atmosphere. This role requires a blend of culinary knowledge, team management, and bartending expertise to create an enjoyable experience for all patrons.

Responsibilities

Manage the bar staff, providing training and support to ensure high standards of service. Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages, ensuring quality and consistency. Develop and implement innovative drink menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences. Maintain inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure availability. Collaborate with kitchen staff to create complementary food pairings for drinks. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised bar environment. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service. Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and budget management.

Skills

Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management within a bar or restaurant setting. Strong culinary knowledge with an understanding of food preparation techniques. Excellent bartending skills, including knowledge of various beverages and cocktail recipes. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. Experience in hotel or restaurant operations is highly desirable. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to motivate team members.

Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour
