Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service. The Bar Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a high standard of food and drink quality. This role is essential in creating a vibrant atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience.

Duties

Supervise and train bar staff to deliver outstanding customer service. Oversee daily bar operations, including staff scheduling and performance management. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as licensing laws. Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative drink menus that complement food offerings. Assist in food preparation when required, ensuring high standards of culinary presentation. Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively to ensure satisfaction. Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area. Implement promotional activities to enhance sales and attract customers.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bar or hospitality environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Knowledge of food production and preparation techniques is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A solid understanding of beverages, including wines, spirits, and cocktails. Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary setting is desirable but not essential. A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional guest experiences.

Pay: 22,880.00-30,000.00 per year
