We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar Supervisor to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess strong bartending skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service in a welcoming environment. As a Bar Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness while fostering a positive atmosphere for both patrons and team members.

Responsibilities

Supervise bar staff, ensuring efficient service and adherence to company standards. Train new bartenders on drink preparation, customer service, and food safety protocols. Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety practices. Assist in creating innovative drink menus that enhance the customer experience. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, ensuring it is well-organised at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to encourage development.

Qualifications

Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong time management skills to effectively prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and hospitality. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing inventory. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. A positive attitude and the ability to lead by example in a team-oriented setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
