Job Summary

The Bar Team Leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the bar area within our establishment. This position involves supervising bar staff, managing daily operations, and maintaining high standards of hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food and beverage service, contributing to an exceptional guest experience AND HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE ABOVE.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of bar staff to ensure efficient service delivery. Assist in food preparation and culinary tasks as required, ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety standards. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock to prevent shortages. Train and mentor team members in hospitality practices, customer service, and operational procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, providing solutions to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service across the restaurant

Skills

Proven experience in supervising teams within a hospitality or restaurant environment. Excellent leadership abilities to motivate and inspire team members. Solid understanding of food production processes and quality control measures. Exceptional team management skills with a focus on collaboration and support. A genuine passion for hospitality, with a commitment to providing outstanding service. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, this is a must. Be able to set up rooms for events
