The Bar Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the bar operations during live music events, ensuring efficient service, maintaining high standards of quality, and providing an excellent customer experience. This role requires strong leadership, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the bar staff, ensuring they deliver excellent service and adhere to company standards.
Able to deal with various different demographics of custom
Coordinate bar operations during live music events, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Maintain a well-stocked bar, managing inventory and placing orders as needed.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Train and mentor new and existing bar staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Collaborate with event coordinators and other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
Monitor and manage the financial performance of the bar, including sales, costs, and profitability.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bar Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within a high-volume bar or live music venue.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Thorough knowledge of bar operations, beverages, and cellar maintenance.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Customer-oriented with a focus on delivering outstanding service.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the event schedule.
Personal License is an advantage but not an essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: 13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
