What we're looking for:

Team members who have a 'can do' approach and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no 2 days are ever the same!

Ideal candidates will have previous experience working in a customer facing, barista/bar setting and will be excited to learn additional skills to support business needs. A flexible approach is required as the role will include some evening and weekend working. Current closing times are 8pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday with 5-6pm closing times on other days.

To be considered for this role, you must be passionate about customer service, willing to learn and be able to demonstrate that you can work to the highest standards. You must be smart in appearance, enthusiastic and have previous experience of working in a busy, fast paced environment. You must also be able to actively demonstrate positive attitudes and behaviours and have an approachable, friendly and helpful manner towards colleagues and customers at all times.

Due to the nature of the role, you must be over 18.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Take orders from customers

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers

Provide excellent customer service

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area

Handle cash and card transactions efficiently

Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth-running bar

Assist the food van with serving food and other tasks as needed

Support management with the day-to-day operational requirements

Adherence to company policies and procedures including safeguarding and security of staff, customer, stock and premises

Knowledge & Skills:

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate previous experience within a customer facing setting preferably in a hospitality/ food setting.

Essential:

Strong communication skills Previous experience in a customer facing role Ability to work day/evening/weekend shifts Positive attitude Ability to work under pressure Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Desirable:

Previous bartending / Barista experience Experience in food hygiene & safety practices
