Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic

Barback and Runners

to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will support bartenders and the overall bar operation by ensuring a smooth and efficient service environment. Duties

Assist bartenders by replenishing stock, garnishes, and glassware to ensure seamless service. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glasses and cleaning surfaces regularly. Support with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic snack or garnish assembly. Restock supplies and organise storage areas to ensure all items are readily accessible. Help with setting up and breaking down the bar at opening and closing times. Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to management promptly. Provide excellent customer service by engaging politely with guests and responding to their needs courteously. Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, food preparation, or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential. Experience in hotel or barista roles can be advantageous. Strong communication skills with an ability to work well within a team. Knowledge of food safety standards and basic cleaning procedures is beneficial. Enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn new skills related to service and beverage handling. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a lively environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
