We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barback to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting the bar staff, ensuring that the bar operates smoothly and efficiently. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the restaurant industry while honing their skills in customer service and time management.
Duties
Assist bartenders with the preparation and serving of beverages to customers.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
Restock supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice, to ensure the bar is fully equipped at all times.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and responding to their needs promptly.
Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere for both staff and customers.
Experience
Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous.
Basic math skills are required for managing inventory and processing orders accurately.
Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
