Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barback to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting our bartenders and ensuring that our bar runs smoothly. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in hotel and restaurant settings.

Duties

Assist bartenders with the preparation of drinks and cocktails by gathering ingredients and supplies. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Restock bar supplies, including spirits, mixers, garnishes, and ice, to ensure efficient service. Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to coordinate service during busy periods. Support the overall guest experience by providing prompt assistance and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Skills

Previous or restaurant environment is advantageous but not essential. Basic techniques and drink recipes is beneficial. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and a willingness to learn about food preparation and beverage service. Team player mentality with a proactive approach to helping others in the restaurant and bar areas.
