Key Responsibilities for Kitchen Porters

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and food preparation areas Wash and organize kitchen equipment, utensils, and crockery Assist chefs and culinary team with general kitchen duties as required Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and kitchen surfaces are sanitized Support the smooth running of service by keeping all areas fully stocked and tidy Follow health & safety and food hygiene regulations at all times Help with receiving and storing deliveries

Ideal Candidate Profile - Skills & Experience

Previous experience as a kitchen porter, kitchen assistant, or in a similar role is desirable Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure within a fast-paced hospitality environment Strong team player with a positive, proactive attitude Flexible with shift patterns, including evenings and weekends Punctual, reliable, and professional at all times
