Job Description
Seventh Seal is a busy shop with many working parts. We have a strong brand identity that encapsulates a Barbers, Contemporary Menswear and Speciality Coffee. We pride ourselves on our service, providing advice and understanding to help create styles that fit with our clients individual needs. The perfect person should appreciate the elevated level of service we provide and should want to provide it themselves.
Candidates must have good classic barbering skills, including:
Scissor work
Scissor over comb
Experience with long hair is preferred but not essential
Experience in wet shaving would be great, but again not essential
You must also have a good understanding of modern barbering techniques including:
Clipper work
Tapers
Fading
You should be motivated and passionate about what you do, and see yourself as part of a team rather than an individual.
The perfect candidate will have an interest in learning and developing their skills and also be interested in the lifestyle aspect of Seventh Seal. You must have a willingness to grow within every aspect of what we do.
Full-Time Hours
Ability to work on Saturdays is essential
NVQ Level 2 or higher (or equivalent)
Trades test will be necessary for successful candidates

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
