Duties

Provide high-quality hair styling and barbering services tailored to clients' preferences. Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are understood and met. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, adhering to health and safety standards. Offer personalised advice on hair care, styling options, and grooming products. Manage appointment schedules efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery. Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hair styling and barbering techniques. Ensure all tools and equipment are properly sanitised after each use.

Experience

Previous experience in customer service is highly desirable. Formal training or background in hair styling or barbering is preferred but not essential; training opportunities may be available for the right candidate. Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective client interactions. Knowledge of current hair styling trends and techniques is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail. A friendly, professional demeanour with excellent interpersonal skills.
