We are seeking energetic and motivated individuals to fill the role of a 24-hour contract Barista. In this fast-paced position, you will craft delicious coffee beverages, serve food items, and provide outstanding customer service at any hour of the day or night. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate coffee lovers to grow their skills in a lively cafe setting while working flexible hours.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and food items with precision and care Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for sales transactions Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with customers warmly and attentively Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and handling areas Manage cash handling accurately, including cashiering duties and basic retail math Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling and preparation Support team members during busy periods by assisting with serving, order taking, and restocking

Requirements

Previous barista experience or background in coffee industry preferred Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude Ability to work flexible hours across a 24-hour schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math tasks Experience in food service or cafe environments is highly desirable

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
