Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista who is mad about dogs to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our doggy daycare and grooming clients while crafting high-quality beverages and food items for our customers. We are a family run business and like to ensure that our customers enjoy a delightful experience every time they visit.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety standards Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently and tending to doggy daycare clients. Treat all dogs like royalty when they enter the building. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for sales Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment

Requirements

Previous barista experience is essential An understanding of food safety practices Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately Effective time management abilities to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment A friendly and approachable demeanour, with the ability to work well within a team

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour
