Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Barista & Cook to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting quality beverages and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced cafe environment. We will also train you on food - providing Baps, Pancakes, Full Breakfasts etc. This will be trained position, but any experience in a commercial kitchen will be amazing.

Duties:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate coffee-making equipment including espresso machines and grinders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons in a friendly manner
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
- Assist in food preparation and serving as needed

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is required
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen is prefered
- Food Hygeine Level 2 or above is preferred.
- Must be able to work the majority of weekends.
- Knowledge of basic maths for handling transactions
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Familiarity with food safety standards and practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
