Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are made according to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.

Requirements

Previous experience in a cafe or food service environment is preferred but not essential. Strong understanding of food safety practices. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours. A genuine passion for coffee and customer service is highly desirable. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 25 per week
