Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring food safety standards are met, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Adhere to food safety guidelines in all aspects of food preparation and service. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing excellent service. Assist with food preparation as needed, including pastries and light snacks. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.

Skills

Previous barista experience is highly desirable, with knowledge of various coffee brewing methods. Strong understanding of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately. Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks during peak hours. A friendly and approachable demeanour, with the ability to work well in a team environment. Pay: 12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 24 per week
