Overview

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Ensure adherence to food safety standards during food preparation and serving. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions efficiently while demonstrating basic math skills for accurate change. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tasks while maintaining quality service.

Experience

Previous barista experience is essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable. Experience in serving and food preparation will be advantageous. Strong time management skills are essential to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are key to ensuring customer satisfaction. Pay: 13.85-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
