ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Barista at Mettricks, you take on a leadership role in the coffee shop, leveraging your extensive experience to guide and inspire the barista team. Reporting directly to the Head Barista, this position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in delivering exceptional coffee and customer experiences. As a Barista, you contribute to elevating the coffee program, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and service.

Expert Craftsmanship:

Possess advanced skills in coffee preparation, showcasing a mastery of brewing techniques, latte art, and quality control.

Leadership Acumen:

Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, guiding and inspiring the barista team to uphold Mettricks' standards of excellence.

Customer-Centric Approach:

Continuously prioritize and enhance the customer experience, ensuring patrons receive the highest quality coffee and service.

Innovation and Creativity:

Bring a creative flair to the coffee program, contributing to menu development, and special offerings, and exploring innovative brewing methods.

Team Mentorship:

Actively mentor and develop junior baristas, fostering a positive learning environment and contributing to their professional growth.

Actively mentor junior baristas, sharing knowledge and expertise to contribute to their professional development.

BARISTA RESPONSIBILITIES



Leadership:



Provide leadership within the barista team, ensuring a positive and collaborative working environment.

Oversee and maintain the highest standards of coffee quality and beverage preparation, conducting regular quality control assessments.

Customer Interaction:



Engage with patrons, ensuring a premium customer experience by delivering exceptional coffee and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.

Team Development:



Mentor and guide junior baristas, facilitating their professional growth and contributing to the overall skill development of the team.

Innovation and Creativity:



Contribute to menu development, explore new coffee offerings, and bring creative ideas to enhance the overall coffee program.
