Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled (or keen to learn) Barista to join our team in creating delicious coffee and providing exceptional customer service in our busy Glasgow Fort Shopping Centre store.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Assist customers in selecting beverages based on their preferences
- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food preparation and service
Qualifications
- Strong time management skills to handle peak hours efficiently
- Ability to provide friendly customer service and help customers with menu choices
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques
- Understanding of food safety regulations to ensure a hygienic environment
