Barista
to work within our Lobby Restaurant, responsible for all coffee-based drinks including the preparation, service, and working area, reporting to the Assistant Lobby Manager.
The Peninsula Hotels are renowned for the Lobby experience, with live music, a luxurious setting, and food and beverage service at the highest level, which, our guests have become accustomed to and that is synonymous with our brand. The Barista, with the experience, and knowledge of coffee-based drinks, will be instrumental in the service delivery required. Having a great passion for both coffee and service they will be able to translate this into a special guest experience.

Key Accountabilities
Always ensure the delivery of exceptional guest service.
Possess knowledge of espresso and coffee-based drinks and adapts to market trends.
Carry out regular checks on all coffee machines and grinders in The Lobby to ensure that they are hygienic and correctly set up.
Establish and maintain positive guest and colleague interactions with productive working relationships.
General requirements
Good knowledge of food and preparation of hot and cold espresso and coffee-based beverages.
1 year or more working within a high volume and fast-paced coffee environment are preferred but not essential.
Friendly and positive with a flexible approach and ability to work under pressure.
