Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barista/Waiter to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued. You will play a key role in creating a pleasant atmosphere, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting with food preparation as needed.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system. Ensure that all orders are prepared according to food safety standards. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high service standards. Assist with food preparation when required, ensuring cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Handle customer inquiries and provide assistance as needed to enhance their dining experience. Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout the shift. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders.

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. A good understanding of food safety practices is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. Basic maths skills for processing bills and handling payments accurately. A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
