Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Barista/All Rounder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent time management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes. Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures during preparation and serving. Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, pastries, and other supplies; assist in ordering when necessary. Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring satisfaction with their experience. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices are followed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous barista or coffee experience preferred; familiarity with cafe operations is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment. Knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation techniques is highly desirable Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
