Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring their experience is enjoyable and memorable.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions regarding the menu. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for till operations. Support food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all items are fresh and presented attractively. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and assist each other as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the health and safety of customers. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively. A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team dynamic.

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
