Overview

We are assembling a high-calibre team to help launch and establish a new independent coffee shop with the ambition of becoming a standout destination in the Jewellery Quarter. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a business from day one and help shape its culture, standards, and reputation.

We are seeking passionate, skilled, and service-driven Front of House Team Members, Food Handlers, and Baristas who take pride in their work and share a genuine appreciation for quality coffee and hospitality.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Ensure adherence to food safety standards and maintain cleanliness in the work area. Assist with food preparation, such as making bagels/ toasties including pastries and light snacks. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during both quiet and busy periods. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment. Build genuine relationships with customers through friendly, respectful, and attentive service

Experience

Previous experience as a with food and drinks handling is required Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous but training can be provided. Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions. Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Pay: 7.55-15.06 per hour
