Job Summary

We are seeking 4 friendly and efficient

Baristas

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all customers. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation and customer engagement within a vibrant cafe setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, in accordance with company standards. Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed during food and drink preparation. Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and assisting with menu selections. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas to uphold health standards. Manage cash register operations accurately, including handling payments and giving correct change. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations. Uphold the company's brand image through professional appearance and positive attitude at all times. keep art area clean and deal with parents/carers of young people who will be using the art/games area. Book the sensory room, supervise parents/carers to the room and log them back out on completion.

Experience

Previous experience as a

Barista

or in a similar customer service role is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of

food safety

standards is desirable to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in

serving

customers efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanour is preferred. Skills in

food preparation

such as making espresso-based drinks or simple snacks are beneficial. Basic

maths

skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately. Strong

time management

skills are essential to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service standards.
