Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items in a fast-paced environment. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide friendly service. Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and surfaces in compliance with food safety standards. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts. Follow food safety regulations and organisational procedures at all times. Support food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when required. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a

Barista

or in a similar food service role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of

food safety

standards and procedures is desirable. Experience in

serving

customers with professionalism and courtesy. Basic

food preparation

skills are advantageous. Good

basic maths

skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Strong

time management

abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods. Friendly personality with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork. Ability to work flexibly across various shifts, including weekends if required.
