Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our dynamic team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while expertly preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Assist with food preparation, ensuring that all items meet our quality standards. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Engage with customers to provide assistance, answer questions, and promote menu items.

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe or similar environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Basic maths skills are required for handling transactions accurately. Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous. Strong time management skills are necessary to thrive in a fast-paced setting. A genuine desire to help others and create memorable experiences for customers is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 7.75-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 35 per week
