We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our vibrant team over the festive period. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop specialised skills in coffee preparation while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Previous experience is essential.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and seasonal drinks, adhering to company recipes and standards. Handle food safety procedures diligently, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at all times. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service. Serve food items when required, assisting with food preparation as needed. Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately using basic maths skills. Maintain a clean and organised work station, including cleaning equipment and work surfaces regularly. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner and addressing any queries or concerns promptly. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow. Confidence to work solo or together as a team.
Temporary 6 week position with the potential of becoming permanent in March time.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 6 weeks

Pay: 12.80-13.80 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 14 per week
