Playbox is a fast paced, family focused roleplay cafe, and we're looking for an experienced, friendly

Barista

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring the smooth operation of the coffee shop during busy periods. Previous experience is essential. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation and customer service within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, in accordance with company standards. Handle food safety procedures diligently, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene at all times. Assist customers with their orders in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent service. Maintain the cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas (including role play area) throughout shifts. Manage cash register operations accurately, including handling payments and giving correct change. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Follow health and safety regulations related to food preparation and serving. Support team members during peak hours to ensure efficient service delivery. opening and closing duties

Pay: 13.00-14.80 per hour
