We are seeking a friendly and efficient

individual

with WEEKEND & WEEKDAY AVAILABILITY to join our vibrant team in a part-time or full time role. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality sandwiches and brunch items as well as hot and cold beverages. This role involves preparing and serving various brunch and deli items, preparing and serving a range of hot and cold beverages including alcohol, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all customers. The successful applicant will contribute to a positive cafe atmosphere while adhering to food safety standards and organisational procedures.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of brunch and deli food items in accordance with company standards. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, alcohol, and other beverages in accordance with company standards. Handle customer orders efficiently whilst providing friendly and attentive service. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in compliance with health and safety regulations. Ensure all food safety protocols are followed during food preparation and handling and ensure timely delivery to customers. Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change. Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth daily operations. Uphold high standards of hygiene, organisation, and presentation at all times. Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, such as assembling snacks or light meals. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality.

Requirements

Flexible scheduling. Previous food preparation and barista experience is preferred but not essential. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks. Effective time management in order to handle multiple orders during busy periods. Assist in food and beverage preparation and efficient delivery to customers.

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
