Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing coffee and tea but also ensuring that our customers have a delightful experience while visiting our establishment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and smoothies. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have about the menu. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining basic maths skills for processing payments. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Manage time effectively to fulfil customer orders promptly without compromising quality. Participate in food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all items are prepared according to established recipes and standards.

Experience

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidate. Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and order processing are required. A genuine passion for coffee and customer service will set you apart as an ideal candidate.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-12.22 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
