We have built a strong reputation and have many regulars and returning clientele, and we pride ourselves on offering a diverse selection of quality hot drinks, lunch/brunches, and homemade cakes, ensuring that everyone can find something to enjoy, regardless of the weather.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, energetic, enthusiastic team member to join our friendly team at Acorns Coffee Shop.

The position is initially Tues/Thus/Sat, approx 15 hours , but more hours and shifts may be available later. The start and finish times vary, due to the weather and season, so a degree of flexibility is required.

In this role, you will play a vital part in providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our customers have a memorable experience while enjoying our offerings.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to all visitors and ensure their needs are met. Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages according to our high standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including dining areas, patio, toilets and food preparation spaces. Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and stocking supplies. Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations. Operating the till and cash handling Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and encourage repeat visits.

Requirements

As a level headed individual, we expect you to be hardworking and conscientious about our high standards.

We seek an experienced person in the hospitality industry, who can thrive under pressure, preferably with experience in a fast paced setting, while maintaining attention to detail.

Knowledge and previous experience of food safety practices is essential.

Your politeness and professionalism , coupled with a positive attitude to both our customers and team will make you an ideal candidate.

You must be an excellent communicator, capable of liasing with people on all levels and working independently, as part of a team and under supervision.
