We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and light food items. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring quality standards are met. Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling light snacks or pastries as required. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations. Serve customers efficiently, taking orders accurately and processing payments using the till system. Manage stock levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations during shifts. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly manner and addressing any queries or concerns promptly. Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers. Assist with opening or closing duties, including cleaning equipment and organising workspaces.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a

Barista

is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of

food safety

standards is desirable to maintain hygiene compliance. Experience in

serving

customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous. Basic

food preparation

skills are beneficial for handling light food items. Good

time management

skills to handle busy periods efficiently without compromising service quality. Basic

maths

skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Strong

organisational skills

Pay: 12.21-13.45 per hour
