Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a memorable experience for our customers while showcasing your skills in food preparation and beverage crafting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Ensure adherence to food safety standards and regulations at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Keep track of inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.

Skills

Strong ability to help customers with their orders and preferences. Experience in food preparation is advantageous. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a hygienic working environment.
