We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista

to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards. Assist customers with menu selections and provide excellent customer service. Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards. Operate cash registers, process transactions accurately, and handle cash or card payments efficiently. Manage stock levels, restock supplies, and notify management of low inventory items. Uphold food safety regulations at all times to ensure the health and safety of customers and staff. Demonstrate effective time management during busy periods to ensure prompt service.

Requirements

Previous experience as a

Barista

or in a similar serving role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of

food safety

standards is desirable. Experience in

serving

customers with professionalism and friendliness. Basic

food preparation

skills are advantageous. Good

basic maths

skills for handling transactions accurately. Strong

time management

abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during peak hours. Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service.
