Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process payments efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, equipment, and dining space in accordance with food safety standards. Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when required. Manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service. Uphold health and safety regulations related to food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness at all times. Engage with customers professionally to enhance their overall experience and foster customer loyalty.

Experience

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Experience in serving customers with a friendly attitude is preferred. Basic maths skills are necessary for handling cash transactions accurately. Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery.
