The Role:

One.World is a coffee shop set within the grounds of One World a designer furniture showroom located in the heart of Parsons Green and we are looking for a barista for our on-site cafe with Full time positions available.

Great service and delicious coffee is our ethos ensuring we are all contributing as a team in creating an exciting experience for our customers.

Our Coffee Bar One.World serves specialty coffee roasted by Jam Pot, a simple but refined in quality brunch & lunch menu, a select range of fine wines. Clean and Mean is key here on supplying healthy options that we aim to become renowned for in the area in an unbeatable location.

As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your passion for coffee and customer service will shine as you engage with patrons, ensuring they have an enjoyable experience. This position requires a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

:

Prepare and serve the cafe's food and beverage offering to the standards set out by management. Engage with guests in a friendly, informed, professional manner, suggesting menu items and products based on their needs. Confidently answer any queries from guests regarding the offering, including any allergens information and how items are prepared. Assist with set-up and execution of daily tasks and operations set out by management. Ensure kitchenettes within the office spaces are stocked according to the standards set by F&B management. Monitoring stock of fresh food, long life products, and consumables. Follow health & safety and food hygiene standards at all times, recording due diligence and deliveries as required. Follow opening and closing checklists and procedures. Maintain cafe machinery by following usage and cleaning instructions. Training of new and seasonal staff

Requirements:

Specialty coffee experience required. Some food prep experience and knowledge of best practice. A will to learn and take ownership of cafe experience.

WEEKENDS

availability. Thursday - Sunday shifts.
